Somebody's favorite fishing hole. Bullfrogs, morning doves, field sparrows, finches, red-winged blackbirds and bumble bees. I was surprised how clear the fishermen's voices were as they motored down the river.

East of the metal shed and water well that shows on the WDNR plot under the canopy of some 2-3' diameter White Oak trees. By this time on Sunday afternoon, there was steady stream of commercial jets approaching General Mitchell Airport from the southwest.

The recordings were made with forward-facing, Rapid 35-1090 ECM omni mic capsules placed on the outside of headphones. The recorder was a Hi-MD Sony model NH700. My thanks to Tom Robinson for sending me these mic capsules to experiment with!
